1. Introduction

My-AI is a Telegram-based AI productivity assistant built and operated by an MSME-registered sole proprietor based in Bangalore, India. My-AI is one of several productivity tools being independently developed to help individuals and small businesses work smarter.

We are a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Account Information

• Telegram username and User ID
• Phone number (via Telegram and/or provided during payment)
• Email address (only if provided during billing or support)

3.2 User Content

• Reminders and tasks you create
• Notes you save
• Calendar entries
• Documents you upload (PDF, Word, Excel, images)

3.3 Usage Data

• Feature usage frequency
• Error logs for debugging and improving the service

3.4 Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed securely through DodoPayments. We do not store your card details, UPI credentials, or banking information on our servers at any point.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only to:

• Provide and improve My-AI features
• Verify your subscription status and manage your account
• Send reminders and notifications you request
• Process your subscription payments
• Respond to support queries
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising. Ever.

5. AI Processing — Google Gemini

My-AI uses Google Gemini (by Google LLC) to power its AI features.

When you interact with My-AI, the following may be sent to Google for processing:

• Your message text
• Extracted text from uploaded documents
• Voice note transcriptions (if you send voice messages)

Google processes this data solely to generate your response. They are contractually prohibited from using it for advertising or independent model training.

We do not sell your data to Google or anyone else.

6. Telegram Platform

My-AI operates through Telegram (Telegram Messenger Inc.).

• We only access messages you send directly to our bot
• We cannot see your other Telegram chats, contacts, or files
• Telegram's own Privacy Policy governs their platform independently
• You can stop using My-AI anytime by blocking or deleting the bot

7. Calendar & Reminders

All your calendar events, reminders, and tasks are stored on our secure servers hosted in India. They are not synced to Google Calendar or Outlook unless we explicitly offer and you opt into that feature in a future update.

Only you can access your data through your Telegram account.

8. Document Uploads

When you upload a document:

• Text is extracted and sent to Google Gemini for AI processing
• The document is stored securely on our India-hosted servers
• You can request deletion of any document at any time by contacting us

9. Data Storage & Security

All user data is stored on servers located within India. We protect your data with:

• Encryption in transit — TLS
• Encryption at rest — AES-256
• Access strictly limited to the developer only

In the event of a data breach that poses risk to you, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by Indian law.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with:

11. Data Retention

• Your data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Billing and financial records are retained as required by Indian law
• Message and usage logs are purged within 30 days
• Minimal identifiers may be kept up to 1 year for fraud prevention only

12. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• File a grievance

13. Children's Privacy

My-AI does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has used our service and shared personal data, please contact us immediately at merabrand.dev@gmail.com and we will delete the data promptly.

14. A Note on Scale

My-AI is built and maintained by a single independent developer. We are fully transparent about this. We take your privacy seriously and comply with Indian data protection law. We will always be honest with our users about what we are and what we can do.

15. International Data Transfers

While our servers are in India, some data may be processed outside India by Google (for Gemini AI) and DodoPayments. Both operate under appropriate data protection agreements and security standards.

16. Updates to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via:

• A message from the Telegram bot
• Email (if you have provided one)

Continued use of My-AI after changes means you accept the updated policy.
